Re: V not seeing mapped network drives
You are probably running V as an Administrator. If you are, this is a known problem. If you create a network share with standard user privileges, the share is unavailable to programs running with elevated privileges (and vice versa). The solution is to simply remap the network drive in an elevated p...

Re: Possible bug in tail function
It would appear that if I minimize this window for some time and then restore it, the viewer window is frozen (i.e. no longer updated) at the same point it was at when the window was minimized. I haven't been able to reproduce this. When I minimize a file that is still being updated and then restor...

Re: file copy from a network drive to C or D and vice versa
What settings should be in place both for the PC and V to make this happen
Unfortunately, there are no settings because this is not supported.
I will probably include support in a future version of V, but I can't see it happening any time soon.

Re: Threaded reading and displaying
When viewing big files, say 300MB to 2GB in size, there will be a delay between 'Open' and then seeing the contents. There shouldn't be much of a delay - at least no more than a second or two. If you find that the delay is noticeable, make sure that File Chunks are enabled (in the More Options sect...

Re: Refresh Directory not working on network folder
i have found this occurs because of a setting on the server, and it is not a problem in V.
Thanks for letting me know.
I couldn't reproduce the problem and was going to suggest it was either a Windows bug or a configuration issue.
