file copy from a network drive to C or D and vice versa

Postby djbeam » Sun Jun 26, 2016 9:17 am

I understand that V only deals with files that are listed under Explorer either as a lettered drive or identified under Network.

I have a BlackBerry PRIV Android system, and the the BB does show under the File category of Network but I cannot access or move files from or to it from the C or D drives.

What settings should be in place both for the PC and V to make this happen ..

Direction please ..

Unfortunately, there are no settings because this is not supported.

I will probably include support in a future version of V, but I can't see it happening any time soon.

Then I am really confused, as I have read in the documentation of V, that Vsupports lettered directories and any directory identified under "computer" and "network".

Where did I go wrong?

I have read in the documentation of V, that V supports lettered directories and any directory identified under "computer" and "network".

V only supports network drives (which contain a file system). The Blackberry must be configured as a device.

Network printers sometimes show up under Network but V cannot browse the contents.

The only way to view the Blackberry with V is if you could somehow assign a drive letter to it. Perhaps it came with some software that lets you do this.
