Start Ruler at one or zero

I like the option to have the Ruler begin at either 1 or 0. But I cannot find the spot in preferences to set it.
V FileViewer Version 12, winxp
The Help says:

In Text mode, the ruler can be shifted by one character to the right (ie, the first column will be treated as column 0 instead of column 1) by setting the Start Text Ruler at 0 option in the Preferences Dialog box.

Ok, nothing like sending the answer to see it in the help.
For the inquiring minds.

CTRL+ RTClick on the ruler to change the preferences for the ruler!
or CTRL+ALT+R to toggle between them!
