Registration and portable version

I am using the latest portable 64-bits version of FileViewer on my pc and laptop (zip version, no installation) synced via a Dropbox folder.
When I register my copy on one computer, the other computer loses it's registration.
This is a bit annoying, since it pops-up with the non registered box every time until I enter the registration information anew which in turn revokes my registration on my other computer.
I see my pc names and a (identification?) number folder made in the "settings" folder, so I know everything should be working ok.

I must be doing something wrong. A portable version need to be registered only once on each pc you open it (first start), right?
Could someone point me to a solution for this?

I don't think you are - this could be a bug.

The portable version was designed to run from a portable drive (like a USB thumb drive).

Unfortunately, the registration will not work when the program is being run from a cloud folder (like a Dropbox folder).

I need to modify the registration scheme so that it can support the cloud. This won't be available until V15 - which should be released early next year.

I have now decided to fix this in the next Version 14 service release - which should be available by the end of the month.

Just do a Check for Updates once a day until you see the new version.

Thanks, the V14 SR2 version works fine and I do not have to re-enter the code any more .
