context menu

Postby fpefpe » Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:14 am

Hello -- sorry if I just missed it, but is there a way when right clicking on a file, getting the context menu is to so a "open with" or "exe with" so a specific program is executed, not say the one that is connected to the type of the file?

If you press the Ctrl key when right-clicking, the Windows Explorer menu will be displayed - which contains the Open With command.

Alternatively, you can select the Explorer Menu command from the standard right-click menu which will display the Explorer menu.

If you find yourself regularly opening files with the same program, I would recommend adding that program as a User Command and assigning a shortcut key to it. You can then open a file with that program by simply selecting the file and pressing the corresponding shortcut key.
