Copy as binary

Postby miekev » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:13 am

Hi,
I registered V yesterday and I really like it. However, there's one option I can't find. When I open a file in the Viewer, and select the binary (hex), I can't find an option to copy it. When I select the binary, rightclick and choose to copy to Clipboard, it copies the text instead of the binary (hex) - which is OK, but Is there a way it can also copy the binary (hex)? Or an option I can adjust?
If not, wouldn't it be an idea to have that as well in a next release or so? "Copy as binary" option from context menu ?
Thanks

When I open a file in the Viewer, and select the binary (hex), I can't find an option to copy it.

If you start the selection by positioning the mouse on the left side of the display, the formatted output will be copied to the clipboard.

If you start the selection on the right side of the display (over the unformatted characters), then only the characters selected will be copied.

Regards,
Charles.
