Command Line Search

Postby gathda » Thu Sep 22, 2011 6:25 pm

I'm trying to get regular expressions working from the command line. When I launch the following command, the File Finder window comes up, but the "Regular Expression" box doesn't get checked on the "Text Search (GREP)" tab. All the other options I've tried seem to check the appropriate boxes.

v.exe /st /re /s "^$" *.txt

Is there something I'm missing with regular expression searching? I'm using V12 SR1.

Thanks!
Garry

Unfortunately, this is a bug.

It will be fixed in the upcoming Version 13 beta which I hope to release in a few weeks.

Charles.

Not a problem. :) I look forward to seeing what new features are coming.

Best regards,
Garry
