I have been a big fan of Everything Search for some time now. It appears to be pretty seamlessly integrated in V.
However, since ES is a file search and not a file grep, I am confused about why the checkbox appears on the grep tab also?

Why is ES option available in GREP tab?

Even when doing a GREP, you still need to find the files before you can search them. With the ES checkbox enabled, V asks ES to give it the list of matching files to search.
If you were searching for text in all .log files in the current directory, you wouldn't see much of a speed improvement by enabling the ES option.
However, if you wanted to search all the .log files on your disk, enabling the ES option could speed up the search considerably.

Charles.
