Re: About the crippling of the demo mode...

I can't tell you how angry your "demo mode" is making me.

Sorry to hear that. If you are still interested in evaluating the program, I have sent you a code which will temporarily register you for 2 weeks.

Re: V14 SR6 ipworks dll

It appears that there is no ipworkszip9.dll in the 32-bit install.

Thanks for pointing this out.

ipworkszip9.dll is actually included in v14.exe, unfortunately, the setup program does not copy it to the V directory.

Please re-download v14.exe from the website and run to upgrade.

Re: Refresh of Networked Folder File Directory

Other words, DOS DIR command also does not show all of the files Any idea why DOS/VFile Viewer is not showing all the files in the folder? No, I don't know what is going on - but it explains why V isn't seeing the files. Windows Explorer must be using a different method of viewing the network. Is t...

Re: Refresh of Networked Folder File Directory

When she lists the contents of a folder on a networked drive it only is showing up to May 7th, 2015 as far as files available for viewing even though we know there are files as recent as today. If I look at the contents of the networked folder using Explorer on her desktop I can see all the files. ...

Re: Searching including 4DOS descript.ion

I thought at one time search results would included matches inside the 4DOS descript.ion files. There is nothing special about descript.ion - it is not ignored by the search. I did a quick test and had no problem finding matches in descript.ion. Can you be a bit more specific on what you did? Perha...

VBackup source code available at GitHub

It has been almost 4 years since I released VBackup. Since I have no intentions of releasing any further versions, I have created a GitHub project in case someone else is interested in making any modifications. The source code is available at GitHub as a Visual Studio C++ project: https://github.com...
