Re: Bug? Filename Modify of multiple chgs created date / ti

You'd have to see it to believe it.

I assume that the problem is happening when the files are being extracted from a ZIP. Is that right? If so, have you tried extracting them with V?

If it isn't too much trouble, you can post a file in this forum in case someone else has the same problem.

Re: Bug? Filename Modify of multiple chgs created date / ti

When I use the 'Filename Modify' function (not regex) on multiple files, I find that all of the file creation date / time values for all of the files that were selected are reset to the date and time of the first file Sorry, but I can't reproduce the problem - and I don't see any way that V can cha...

Re: Cannot Create Compress Folder

Windows cannot create the Compressed (zipped) folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead What does this mean? I used to be able to do this. My guess is that you do not have permission to create the zip file in that folder. Is it a Windows system folder? Try using Windows Explor...

Re: refreshing "network"

When I open up "computer" (win7) and select "network" (lower left side of the windows) I can see a green progress bar as it refreshed the nodes in the workgroup

Can you send me a screenshot of what the Network branch looks like in Explorer and in V? (send to v at fileviewer.com)

Re: refreshing "network"

I use "v" to take a quick view on my home network shares - but the "network" entry does not see to have all the nodes in the network.

Does Windows Explorer show all the nodes?

Is there a way to refresh this entry?

Try pressing F5 while Network is selected

Re: More on Registration and Portable Version

Entered registration info. Now I plug the stick into another machine and it shows as unregistered. Is this as it should be? Yes. Unfortunately, you will need to re-enter the registration code for every new machine. This is the same behavior as running the non-portable version on a new machine - you...

Re: Add an Edit feature.

Add a capability to edit an EBCDIC file

Unfortunately, V is not an editor (ASCII or EBCDIC) and it never will be :-(

Re: Printing PDF's from file finder

Within the results of file finder, I click on a PDF file and request it to be printed. However, what is printed or displayed on the print preview is not the printed text but rather what appears to be postscript. How can I request the pdf to be printed correctly. V can neither view or print PDF file...

Re: What is my Bottleneck?

But I´d rather increase the reduce the speed of the search for better productivity. I wonder, is there an option that is off? No, there is no option to increase the search priority, and even if there was, I am not sure that it would make much of a difference. You could try changing the priority of ...
