V is no longer displaying any files in the directory listing - only folders!

Make sure that the File Mask box at the top of the directory listing contains *.*

If you are in Dual Pane mode, make sure both File Mask boxes contain *.*

How do I Search from the Current Directory?

When I right click on a folder and choose "Find files /GREP" I would like the selected folder to be the default in the "In directory" instead of the last directory I searched.

To do this, enable Limit Search To and select Current Directory from the list box.

Enable Always restore most recent directory on startup in the Directory Options tab of Preferences.

Alternatively, you can use the /R command line option.
