I haven't received my Registration Code! My Registration Code doesn't work! My free upgrades have expired!

Registration codes are not sent immediately after the order is placed - they can take up to 24 hours to be delivered. Please be patient.

However, once the order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions on how to temporarily register V, should you require immediate registration. The registration code received with Version 2002 (or previous) will no longer work with Versions 7, 8, 9 and 10. You need a new code.

This code is FREE to all registered users and can be obtained by sending me an email.

Note that this code does not necessarily entitle you to a free upgrade to Version 10. Registered users are entitled to free upgrades for 6 years.

If you are running a version that was released more than 6 years after you registered V, you will get a message saying that your free upgrades have expired.

If you want to use the new version, you will need to re-purchase a license (you will get a 15% discount on the current price).

You may trial the new version for up to 30 days. If you decide that you do not want to upgrade, you can continue using the older version of V.

How do I get a discount when upgrading? I have tried the new version but don't want to upgrade! Why haven't I been receiving notifications of new versions?

You will need to place another order for V.

On the Order Form, you will need to enter a valid Discount Code to receive the discount. You can obtain a Discount Code by sending an email to upgrades@fileviewer.com

Please include your current Registered User Name in the email (this is displayed in the About box). You will receive your Discount Code within 24 hours.

The discount for registered users is 15%. If you have an Unlimited License, the discount is 50%. If after trying the latest version, you decide that you do not want to upgrade, you can simply install the previous version over the top of the latest version. Due to the enormous amount of junk mail now being sent, I only send notifications to those users who have specifically asked to be notified.

To receive such notifications, please join the V Update List.

Unfortunately, the notification emails can be easily mistaken for junk email. If your mail server uses some form of SPAM filtering, it is possible that you will not receive them.
